Emory H. Jividen


Emory H. Jividen, 68, 7463 Marseilles-Galion Road, Morral, a state wildlife officer 27 years, died at 4:55 a.m. Thursday April 1, 1990 in Marion General Hospital.
He was bom July 12, 1921, in Putnam County, W.Va., to Raymond H. and Mary Garrison Jividen.
On June 23, 1972, he married Louise Retterer Jividen, who survives.
Twenty of his years as a wildlife officer were in Marion County, and he was a life member of Marion Fish and Game Club. The World War II Navy veteran also was a member of Green Camp Baptist Church; Frank Marquis Lodge 690, F&AM, Mansfield; National Wildlife Federation; and Public Employee Retirees Inc.
Also surviving are three sons, Richard L. Jividen, San Jose, Calif., James A. Jividen, Prospect, and William N. S a Iyer, Portsmouth; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Laura) Nishiguchi, San Jose, Calif, and Mrs. James (Christina) LeMaster, Douglasville, Ga.; two brothers, Stanley Jividen, Burlington, Texas, and Darrell Jividen, Naples, Fla.; two sisters, Thelma Knapp, Delaware, and Masie Jividen, Marion; and 11 grandchildren. A brother, Donald, is deceased.
The service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, by the Rev. Fred Cheney. Burial will be in LaRue Cemetery, where a military service will be conducted by the American Legion.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday and Saturday evening at the funeral home, where a Masonic service will be conducted at 8 p.m.
