March 25, 1990 Services for Letha Shirea will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, by the Rev. Gregory D. Stahlecker, with burial In Fairview Cemetery near LaRue.
Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Saturday.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
She died at 10:22 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 1990, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 10, 1913, in LaRue to Benton E. and Mildred D. (Thomasson) Denman. Her mother survives in LaRue. On June 16, 1934, she married John S. "Tim" Shirea who died Feb. 16, 1988.
Others surviving are two sons, John R. "Dick" Shirea of Lakeview and Ronald E. Shirea of Meeker; a daughter, Mrs. Keith (Jean) Anderson of Indian Lake; four brothers, William W. Denman of Byhalia, Benton Denman of New Bloomington; Joel E. Denman of LaRue and Victor L. Denman of Marion; five sisters, Mrs. Harold (Ima) Robinson of LaRue, Mrs. Foster (Ferol) Kale of Richwood, Mrs. 'Eston (Ruth) Williams of LaRue, Mrs. Neil (Joan) Denman of Kenton and Mrs. Charles (Phyllis) Leeth of Marion; a foster brother, John Price of Marion; five grand-children; and one greatgrandchild.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Victory Sports-mans Club.
