Robert Eugene Moore Sr.

Robert Eugene Moore Sr., 65, 180 S. Chestnut St., LaRue, died Saturday evening Feb 14, 1990 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.
He was bom in Marion May 5, 1924, the son of the late John and Dorcas Peeling Moore.
Retired from employment with the Defense Construction Supply Center, Columbus, after 32 years of service, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War IL Mr. Moore was a 40-year member of Phillippi-Clement American Legion Post 101, LaRue, member of the American Federation of Government Employees, and former member of Tymochtee Grange. He attended LaRue Baptist Church.
On May 8, 1948, in Greenup, Ky„ he married Marjorie Van Vlerah. and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert E. Moore Jr., Marion, Terry Lee Moore, at home; a sister, Starling Pru-sake, North Olmsted; two half sisters, Ann Sevems and Eleanor Sevems, Marion; his stepmother, Elizabeth Peddicord, Marion; and two grandchildren. A daughter, Carol Sue Mitchell, is deceased.
The service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. Tim Pasma officiating. Burial will follow in LaRue Cemetery where a military graveside service will be conducted by the American Legion.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. and in the evening Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
