Clement McCafferty


RICHWOOD — Local resident Clement McCafferty, 79, died Friday morning Jan 5, 1990 at Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware.
He was bom Nov. 7, 1910, in York Township, Union County, to the late Samuel and Mary (Mulligan) McCafferty, and married the former Mary Warner, who survives, in December 1935 in Coshocton.
Mr. McCafferty was a retired farmer and member of the Union County Farm Bureau Federation and Claiboume United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are a son, Lee, Rich-wood; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Linda) Carrel, Richwood; three brothers, Cecil, Pearl and Floyd, Bellefontaine; two sisters, Mrs. Jack (Dorothy) Rick-etts, Marion, and Mrs. George (Esther) Pebley, Lakeview; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Three brothers and a sister are deceased.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, where the service will be 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Jean Moats officiating. Burial will be at Broadway Cemetery.
