Ina I. Oakley


RICHWOOD - Ina I. Oakley, 80, formerly 24 Herbert St., died Sunday afternoon Jan 15, 1989 at The Arbors nursing center, Delaware.
She was born Oct. 29, 1908, in Piketon, a daughter of George W. and Mattie Tidd Crabtree.
Coming from Portsmouth, Mrs. Oakley had lived here only a short time. She was retired from employment with the Selby Shoe Factory, Portsmouth, and was a member of a Baptist church in Portsmouth.
Her husband, Russell L. Oakley, died in 1960. They were married Aug. 6,1932.
Surviving are a son, Buddy Allen Oakley, Bellair, Texas; two sisters, Helen Miller, Richwood, and Ruth Kinney, Xenia; two half sisters, Frances Myers and Phyllis Bond, Circleville; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A sister is deceased.


A private service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home with the Rev. A. David Donnelly officiating. Burial will follow in Claibourne Cemetery.
Calling hours will not be observed. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
