Charles J. Adams


Charles J. Adams, 59, 16413 Township Road 255, LaRue, died Friday evening Feb 1o, 1989 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.
He was born in LaRue Feb. 21, 1929, a son of the late Jeremiah Adams, and Eva L. Dutton Adams, who survives in LaRue.
He was employed for 43 years as maintenance store clerk with Quaker Oats Co., and was a veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Old Timers Quaker Club.
Mr. Adams married the former Vivian D. Mulligan Oct. 26,1954, and she also survives.
Other survivors are four sons, Robert E. Adams, Plain City, and Marvin A., John L. and Richard A. Adams, at home; two brothers, Alfred E. Adams and Jerry W. Adams, LaRue; two sisters,_Mrs.
Alice Spitzer, Kenton, and Mrs. Dan (Joan) Miller, LaRue; a granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. A sister is deceased.
The service will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with Dr. J. Brien McGarvey officiating. Burial will follow in LaRue Cemetery.
  Frierids may call, at the funeral  home after p.m.'pd in the evening  Monday. Memorial contributions  may be made to a charity of the  donor's choice.
