Dale Dwight Hensel

Dale Dwight Hensel, 60, 465 S. Main St., died Monday morning Feb 13, 1989 at his residence.
A native of Hardin County, he was born May 3, 1928, a son of the late Marcus A. and Mabel Marie Thompson Hensel.
Retired from employment with Marion Correctional Institution, Mr. Hensel was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Marion Elks Lodge 32.
His wife, JoAnn Edington, whom he married May 3,1951, died in 1978.
Surviving are two sons, John Hensel, Niles, Mich., and Jeff Hensel, St. Petersburg, Fla.; a daughter, Nikki Hensel, Marion; six brothers, Donald, Vernon and Lowell Hensel, Marion, Warren Hensel, Vandalia, Wilbur Hensel, Marseilles, and Clair Hensel, Morral; and a sister, Mrs. James (Marjorie) Howell, Centerville, Ind.
A graveside service will be 1:30
p.m. Wednesday in McKendree Cemetery, Hardin County, with the Rev. Phyllis Riggs officiating. Friends may call 7-9 tonight at Stof-check Funeral Home, LaRue. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
