Irene Durban

May 12, 1989 RICHWOOD - The service for V.M. Irene Durban, 92,12 George St., will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Cheney officiating. Burial will follow in Alton Cemetery, Franklin.
Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Mrs. Durban was born Jan. 30, 1897, in Franklin County, a daughter of George H. and Clara Bell Schultz Wheeler.
She was a homemaker and member of Claibourne Grange.
Her husband, William Durban, died May 16,1980.
Mrs. Durban is survived by two sons, Alvin C. Durban, Port Orchard,
Wash., and Irvin W. Durban, Denver, Colo.; a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Erma) Jahn, Marysville; a sister, Viola Lembke, Woodstock; 26 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and nine great-greatgrandchildren.
