Elmer D. Hunsicker

Elmer D. Hunsicker, 90, Ohio 67, Marseilles, died Wednesday morning June 15, 1988 at Maribn General Hospital.
He was born April 29,1898, in Wood County, a son of Michael and Emma Lowe Hunsicker.
Mr. Hunsicker was a retired farmer and former Marseilles village councilman. A member of Marseilles United Methodist Church and LaRue Senior Citizens, he was a former member of Tymochtee Grange, and honorary member of the Marseilles Volunteer Fire Department. He also played in the LaRue Old Timers band.
His first wife, Elizabeth Anderson, whom he married in 1917, died in 1962. He then married the former Pressie Roth in ] 964, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Ernest F. Hunsicker, Morrai; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Goldie) Hemmerly, Upper Sandusky; two stepdaughters, Mrs.
Joseph (Imogene) Cope, Lima, and Mrs. Naomi Smith, Kenton; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; six stepgrandchildren; and 13 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Two daughters, a stepson, two brothers, four sisters and a grandson preceded him in death.
The service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. Doral Sharp Sr. officiating. Burial will be in LaRue Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. and in the evening Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Marseilles Volunteer Fire Department.
