Daymond E. "Gene" Warner, 61, 3200 Smeltzer Road, Lot 48, died Monday afternoon Aug 29, 1988 in MedCenter Hospital's respite unit.
He was born March 15, 1927, in Morral, a son of the late Omer D. and Iva J. .Granlee Warner. He was employed as an inspector for 21 years with Whirlpool Corporation. Mr. Warner married the former Ruth Little March 19, 1949, and she survives. Also surviving are three sons, Stephen B. Warner, Highland, Ind.; Michael h, Warner, Delaware, and Jeffrey P. Warner, Palm' Bay, Fla.; a daughter; Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Danner, Green Camp; a brother, Dale Warner, LaRue; five sisters, Mario Graves, Delaware, Helen Little, LaRue,-, and Olive Williams, Evelyn Harper and Dell Hickman, all Marion; and10 grandchildren. The service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Stofcheck Funeral Home LaRue, with the Rev. Ronald Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p,m, and In the evening Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. | |||
