Charles B. Carrel

RICHWOOD - Charles B. Carrel, 78, 116 W. Ottawa St., died early Sunday Oct 30, 1988 at Marion General Hospital,
He was born May 15, 1910, in Dexter City, a son of Washington L. and Sarah Anna Gore Carrel.
A self-employed carpenter, he was of the Methodist faith.
Mr. Carrel married the former E. Virginia Cole April 25, 1942, and she survives.
Also surviving are a son, Gary R. Carrel, Richwood; a daughter, Mrs. William R. (Patricia) Eagle, Delaware; two sisters, Leone Miller, Williamsport, Pa., and Roxie Dixon, Beverly; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Two sisters, two brothers and a grandchild are deceased.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Chaney officiating. Burial will follow in Claibourne Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Richwood Emergency Squad or Community Calvary Church.
