Robert G. Burris

Robert G. Burris, 55, 1090 Chata-qua Ave., LaRue, died at 5:30 p.m. Friday Nov 4, 1988 in Veterans' Hospital, Dayton.
Mr. Burris was born March 18, 1933, in Norton and was a son of Easom H. and Margaret Burrey Burris. Both are deceased.
On May 5, 1956, he married the former Eileen Crum, and she survives.
Mr. Burris was retired from Marion Correctional Institution where he was a welding instructor. He was a veteran of the Korean convict and a member of VFW For-cestwatson Post, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Moose Lodge, all of Kenton, and American Legion Post 225, Upper Sandusky.
Also surviving are a son, Joel F., Annapolis, Md.; a daughter, Lisa Burris, Ardmore, Okla.; two brothers, Charles, Bucyrus, and William, Kirkpatrick; and a sister, Mrs. Ed (Joan) Sullivan, Kirpatrick.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with Don Treadway officiating. Burial will be in LaRue Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. and in the evening Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
