Marion Iyor "Mike" Evans, 66, 8568
LaRue-Prospect Road, LaRue, died early Saturday morning Aug. 29, 1987 in Marion
General Hospital. He was born in Deleware Oct. 17, 1920, a son of the late Marion F. and Mary Evans.
A plant supervisor with j. Lenco Co., LaRue, he had owned and operated for 30 years Evans Farm Equipment Co., LaRUe, and was a World War II veter-; an.
Mr. Evans was a member of LaRue,-United Methodist Church, Phillippi- - , Clements Post 101 of the American Legion, North Star Lodge 452 Knights of Pythias Essex and the 10-23 Radio Club, Marion.
On April 27, 1943, he married the former Katheryn "Maxine" Anderson. She survives.
Also surviving are a son, Richard M. Evans, LaRue; two daughters, Mrs. Dave (Rebecca) Fuhrer, Gallon, and Diane Evans, LaRue; two brothers, Robert and Joseph Evans, both Delaware; and four grandchildren. daughter and a grandson are deceased.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Tues- day in Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. Edwin K. Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Oak; Grove Cemetery, Delaware.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. and in the evening Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund.
