Mary Elizabeth Douglas

RICHWOOD - Mary Elizabeth Douglas, 83, Route 1, East Liberty, Logan County, died early this morning Jan 14, 1986 in Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine.
She was born in Marion County July 25, 1902, a daughter of Joseph W. and Elizabeth Flintchborgh Jerew. A homemaker, she married Melvin L. Douglas Nov. 27,1918. He died June 20, 1973.
Surviving are two sons, Melvin A. Douglas, East Liberty, and Richard L. Douglas, Otisville, Mich.; four daughters, Mrs. Charles (Helen) Ledley, East Liberty, Mrs. Homer (Isabelle) Moffit, Brewton, Ala., Mrs. Francis (Lucille) Cramer, Essex, and Mrs. Gertrude Fryman, Marysville; a sister, Ruthella Fields, New Concord; 20 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
A daughter, two sisters, two brothers, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren preceded her in death.    
The service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Stofcheck Funeral Home, with the Rev. Fred Chaney officiating. Burial will be in Price Ceme-tery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday afternoon and evening.
