Mable Ethel


Services for Mable Ethel will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, by the Rev. Tim Pasma with burial in the LaRue Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday and Wednesday evening. Memorials may be made to the LaRue Baptist Church.
She died at 10:30 a.m. Monday Feb 17, 1986 at the Scioto Crest Center in Hilliard.
She was born Sept. 4,1885, in LaRue to Calvin H. and Lenora (Lenox) Topliff.
She married Correl Bell in 1907 and he died in 1949.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Charles (Lena) Gillespie, and several neices and nephews, including Calvin H. and Margaret Topliff of Marion.    
She had been a receptionist for Dr. Dietrich in LaRue. She was a member of the LaRue Baptist Church and a graduate of Oberlin College of Music. She was a member of the LaRue Business Women's. Club, the LaRue Senior Citizens, and The Happie. Tyme Club. She also belonged to the Happy Villagers and was a member of the Mary Lenox Chapter 98 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
