Ernestine Turner


Services for Ernestine Turner will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, Richwood, by the Rev. Charles LeMaster with burial in Hopewell Cemetery.  
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.  
She died at 4:10 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 1986, at Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware.
She was born Sept. 8,1895, in Gallia County, Ohio, to Lafayette and Mary M. (Harshburger) Halley. She married Heber Saunders in 1913 and he died in 1929. She then married Edgar Freeman in 1931 and he died in 1951. In 1960, she married Louis Turner and he died in 1972.  
Surviving are three sons, Ernest E. Saunders of Marysville, George E. Freeman Of Hebron, and Charles T. Freeman'of Magnetic Springs; four daughters, Mrs. Berl (Mary) Tred-way of Kenton Mrs. Jarry (Goldie) Handley of Indiana, Mrs. Eugene (June) McCarty and Mrs. Ted (Joan) Cox, both of Magnetic Springs; nine stepchildren; 23 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was a cook, retired from the former" Conrad Hotel, Magnetic Springs.
