Denver Sandy


Graveside services for Denver Sandy will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Claybourne Cemetery, near Richwood by the Rev. Tim Pasma. Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, is in charge of arrangements.
There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Central Ohio Lung Association.
He died at 1:40 p.m. Friday, April 18,1986, at his home.
He was born Sept. 7,1915, in Clay, W. Va., to James and Myrtle Santy. His mother survives in Charleston, W. Va.
 Also surviving are a son, Melvin of Bucyrus; two daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Geneva) Lane of Richwood, and Susan  Shiffletof  Marion;   eight  grandchildren; two brothers, Delmar of Colorado, and Richard of Canton; and four sisters, Marvel Downey and Maxine  Johnson,  both  of  West Virginia, and Ruth Stark and Margie Rappold,, both of Dayton.  A son,  James, is deceased.    He was retired from Wenham Trucking Company.
