Services for Arnold Bernard Buyer will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with burial in LaRue Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday and Thursday evening. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
He died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 1986, at Marion General Hospital.
He, was born June 21, 1903, in Bowling Green Township, Marion County, to William and Maude Elizabeth (Stoddard) Buyer. On June 19, 1932, he married Florence Wigle and she survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Robert Norman of Kenton, Paul Ervin of Richwood and DeWayne Arnold of Marion; two daughters, Mrs. Boyd (Doris Eileen) Rinehart of LaRue and Daphne Jo Ann Stone of New Bloomington; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Daphne Buyer of LaRue and Mrs. Bob (Fannie) Hecker of Meeker. A brother, Oris L. Buyer, is deceased.
