Olive Edna Longshore

She died at 3 a.m. today Jan 26, 1973 at the Persinger Nursing Home in LaRue after a two-year illness.
She was born March 15. 1879, in New Bloomington to George W. and Marjory  (Chambers)
Carey. .
She was married Nov. 17 1906 in New Bloomington to Clark Longshore, who died in 1940.
She was a member of the New Bloomington United Methodist Church and the Independent Rebekah Lodge 234 in New Bloomington.
She and her husband owned the general store in New Bloomington, which she   operated from the time of her husband's death until 1968.
Surviving are nieces and nephews. A brother and sister are deceased.
Services will be held at 1 p. m. Monday at the Stofcheck-Ford Funeral Home in LaRue by the Rev. Vidya Rampal, with burial in Agosta Cemetery, Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday afternoon and evening.
