Esley Michael Benson

Esley Michael Benson, 80, of RR 2, LaRue died at 4:35 a.m. today Feb 26, 1973 in Hardin County Home. A retired farmer, he was a native of Hardin County.
Born Nov. 22, 1892, he was one of two children, a son and a daughter, of Robert and Alice Laughlin Benson. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in LaRue.
Mrs. Anne T. Wolf Benson is his widow.
Of his six sons, Walter L. of Bowling Green, Edward M. of Dayton, John M. and Frank E. of LaRue and James R. of Marion survivie.
Also surviving are 4 daughters, Mrs. Alice Cochran of Cleveland and Mrs. Irene Ballinger, Mrs. Barbara Cronin and Mrs. Mary Applefeller of LaRue; 41 grandchildren aqd 3 great-grandchildren.
The family included a half-sister. Three half-brothers, Archie, Eddie and Dewey Bridleman of Michigan survive.
Services will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph Church. Rev. Robert E. Schneider will officiate. Burial will be I in LaRue Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pj.m. a t Stofcheck-Ford  Funeral Home in LaRue where the Rosary will be recited at 8.
