Laura Bell Brown

She died Aug 12, 1973 at 1 a.m. Sunday at her home. A ruling is expected from the Marion County coroner on the cause of death.  She was born May 28, 1920, in  Indiana to Henry and Anna B. (Gerber) Smith. He survives in Michigan and she in Richmond, Ind.
She married Donald F. Brown May 30, 1947, in Albany, N. Y. They lived hi the LaRue area for 16 years. He survives.
Also surviving is a foster son Donny at home; a brother Henry of California; four half brothers, Jim Smith of California, Robert, Jack and Dennis Smith of Michigan; six half sisters, Joan Caskey, Betty Wendell, Barbara Stewart, Lorain Bulbray, Linda Mapuie and Donna Smith, all of Michigan.
Services will be held at 10 a.rn. Tuesday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue by the Rev. O'Neil Phelps, with burial in Spring Lawn Cemetery at New Paris.
