He died Dec 22, 1973 at 6:50 a.m. today at Eastlawn Manor in Marion.
He was born Sept. 15, 1891, to Michael and Anna (Scharf) Pfeiffer.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in LaRue. He had lived in LaRue 15 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Margaret Ellen Dune of Marion; a sister, Mary Pfeiffer of LaRue; and a brother, Louis of Marion.
A sister and two brothers are deceased.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Church in LaRue by The Rev. Robert Schneider, with burial in St. Marys Cemetery in Marion.
Friends may call at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue Sunday afternoon and evening. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.
