He died at the VA hospital in Cleveland at 7:30 a.m. Friday.
He was born Sept. 2, 1916, in Meadeville, Pa., to Ward and Clara (Warren) Record. His father survives in the Veterans Home in Erie, Pa.
He was a World War II veteran and was a member of the American Legion in Pennsylvania.
Surviving are two sons, Terence J. of DeCliff and Richard L. of Marion; a sister, Hazel Johnston of Meadville, Pa.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue by the Rev. Charles Hand, with burial in LaRue Cemetery.
