Services for Carl Forest Berry, 56, of LaRue will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. William H. Radel officiating. Burial will be in LaRue Cemetery. He died in Hardin Memorial Hospital at Kenton at 1:35 p.m. Friday following a five-year illness. Mr. Berry was employed at Marion Correctional Institution. He was a sheet metal foreman for Ohio Penal Industries. A resident of LaRue 27 years, he was born in Pike County. He attend LaRue Baptist Church. Mr. Berry was a member and past master of LaRue Lodge 463, F&AM, and the present chaplain of the lodge, and a member of Mary Lenox Chapter 98, Order of the Eastern Star. He was a World War II veteran and member of the LaRue Phillippi Clement Post 101, American Legion. Surviving are his widow, Mary Evelyn Mathena Berry; 3 sons, T. Sgt. Michael Lee Berry stationed in Berlin, Airman Richard Everett Berry stationed at Rickenbacker AFB. Columbus, and William Charles Berry at home; 3 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Kenneth L. of Tampa, Fla., and Herman of LaRue, and a sister, Mrs. Leona Lowman of Cynthiana, Ohio. Friends may call after 7 tonight and Sunday afternoon and night at the funeral home in LaRue where Masonic rites will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. | |||
