Leonard Frederick Pheifer


Leonard Frederick Pheifer, 47, Magnetic Springs, died Wednesday Nov 27, 1974 at his residence. He had been ill about 10 months.
Born Feb. 8, 1927, he was the son of the late Edwin and Elizabeth (Goretzki). He was the manager of a Lawsons Store in Delaware and. owned a grocery store in Magnetic Springs. He was a member of the St. Marys Catholic Church in Delaware and was a veteran of World War II.
He married the former Floyce Trautman Sept. 29, 1951 in Norwalk. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, David, Ada, and Michael and Jeffrey, both at home; four daughters, Mrs. Terry (Annie) Tucker, Magnetic Springs, Mrs. Gregory (Susan) Ernst, Columbus, and Karen and Sharon, both at home; three brothers, Roy Pheifer and Raymond Pheifer, Norwalk, and Larry Pheifer, Collins; three sisters, Mrs. Leo (Lucilla) Myer, Norwalk, and Mrs. Louis (Irene) Angel and Mrs. Louis (Mildred) Redly, both of Toledo; and two grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the St. Marys Catholic Church, Delaware, with the Rev. Louis E. Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 p.m. tonight at the Stofcheck Funeral Home, Richwood, where Rosary Services will be held at 8:30 p.m. tonight.
