Clarence Wilbur Trumbo


The death of Clarence Wilbur Trumbo, 71, retired farmer of rural LaRue, is attributed to natural causes by Marion County Coroner Dr. Robert T. Gray. The day of death is believed to be Friday or Saturday, Feb 7, 1975.
Last seen Thursday, he was found dead Tuesday after the postal deliveryman informed neighbors mail had accumulated at the home where Mr. Trumbo reside. The Marion County Sheriff's office was called to investigate.
The body was discovered on a couch or daybed in the unhealed house which had only a wood-burning stove and no other utilities.
Original ly from Hardin County, he was known in the; area for providing means of! travel   for   members   of   the Amish faith who had need of transportation.
Only survivors are nieces and nephews.
Services will b held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. The Rev. James Mason will officiate. Burial will be in Price Cemetery near Richwood.
