Richard Harry Lee


Richard Harry Lee, 44, of Rosewood Drive, Marion, a road conductor for Erie Lackawanna Railway Co., died at 2:30 a.m. today March 4, 1975 in Marion General Hospital following a one-week illness.
He was a member of Marion Elks Lodge 32 and Aerie 337, Fraternal Order of Eagles. A veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was a member of Bird-McGinnis Post 162 of the American Legion.
He was born in Baltimore, Md., a son of Harry and Dorothy Boyer Lee. His mother died Feb. 23, 1975.
Surviving are his father of Marion;   his   widow,   Virginia Ellen    Johnson    Lee;    stepchildren,   Stanley   and   Larry Hook   of   Marion,   Terry   of Columbus and Brenda at home; 8 stepgrandchildren; 4 brothers, Thomas F. and Howard G. Lee of Marion, William R. of LaRue and   Robert    M.    of    New  Bloomington. and 6 sisters, Mrs. Al (Mary) Haberman of New Bloomington, Mrs. Gene (Marilyn) Thomas of Bucyrus, and   Mrs   Harold   (Marjorie) ISchorr, Mrs. Henry (Marsha)  Miller,   Mrs.   Marvin   (Katy) Boles and Miss Tina Sue Lee, all of LaRue.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, the Rev. James Mason officiating. Burial will be in Price Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
