Florence Murill Abernathy


LaRUE — Mrs. Florence Murill Abernathy, 70, of 8396 Marseilles-Galion Ed. west, died June 30, 1970 in her residence at Morral Tuesday, 1970. Death came unexpectedly as she had not been ill.
Born May 31, 1900 in West-Virginia, she was a. daughter of William and Eliza (Massey) McCormic'k. She was a member of the Park and Main St. Congregational   c h u r eh   in

She married Robert Lee Abernathy in 1944 and he died in 1956. Surviving daughter, Charlotte land of Morral; grandchildren, William J. Edens of Florida, Herbert E. Edens of Marion, and Mrs. Betty K. Bash of Marion; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Fannie Cooper of West Virginia; two brothers, Ed McGcrmick of Michigan and Charles McCor-mick of Fairborn. Four brothers  and two sisters preceded her in death.
Services will be 2 p. m. Friday in the Long and Fisher funeral home at Charleston, W. Va. where friends may call after 2 p. m. Thursday. Burial will be in Cunningiam Me- morial Park cemetery. Local arrangements are in charge of Ford funeral home with Edward Stofcheck funeral direc-tor.
