| Margaret Ann Wood Haines, 61 , of Marysville died Tuesday, Feb. 11 ,2003, at her home following a 16-month battle with cancer. She was born in Union County on Sept.1, 1941, to the late Vernon and Goldie Stiffler Wood and was predeceased by her husband, Rodney Haines and a sister, Mary Lou Ferguson. A retired nurse's assistant, she was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and attended Heartland Union Freewill Baptist Church in Plain City. She enjoyed spending winters in Florida, traveling, shopping and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter, Tonya (Rich) Vance of Plain City; friend, Howard Stinemetz of Richwood; two granddaughters, Morgan and Madison Vance; three brothers, Lester (Beth Ann) Wood and Donald (Dee) Wood of Prospect and Charles (Barb Bradshaw) Wood of Florida; two sisters, Thelma (Glenn) Fields and Ruth Gray of Richwood; an aunt; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood with the Rev. Dana Booth officiating. Burial will be in Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Contributions may be made to Heartland Union Freewill Baptist Junior Church with cards available at the funeral home. | |||
