Kenneth L. Cook


Kenneth L. Cook, 94, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., died Tuesday, Feb. 25,
2003, at the St. Lucie Medical Center.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a machine maintenance
supervisor with Marion Power Shovel of Marion. He was a lifelong model
train enthusiast and member of the Train Collections Association. A
native of North Tonawanda, N.Y., he moved to Port St. Lucie 15 years ago
from Mount Victory.
He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Gertrude F. Cook, on July
14, 1996.
He is survived by a daughter, Gerri (Jeff) Haberman of Port St. Lucie;
four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Hilda
Hassall of Lockport, N.Y.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ballinger Funeral
Home in Richwood. The Rev. Robert C. Kelley will officiate and burial
will be at the Byhalia Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m.
Saturday and 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting
Nurse Association, 2400 S.E. Monterey Road, Stuart, Fla. 34996.
