Darrell Lee Holt Jr.

Darrell Lee Holt Jr., 55, of Richwood died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 3,
2003, at his home.
He was employed at Marcy Industries and was a member of Marion
Enterprise Baptist Church.
He was born July 4, 1947, in Dixon County, Va., to the late Darrell and
Elizabeth Joan White Holt Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Bev Arlene McVay Holt whom he married April
12, 1970, in Richwood; three daughters, Kathy Sue (Alan) Rausch of
Richwood, Sherry Lynn (Matt) Meadows of Marysville and Jennie Marie
(Ryan) Pelfrey of Magnetic Springs; six grandchildren; a brother, Tim
(Mary) Holt of Marion; and three sisters, Janice Williams and Margaret
Holt of Marion and Linda (Fritz) Cole of Pennsylvania.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Marion Enterprise
Baptist Church. The Rev. Fred Buckner will officiate and burial will be
at Grand Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at
the Ballinger Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in
care of the funeral home.
