Stella Irene Akers

Stella Irene Akers, 90, of Heartland of Marysville died Monday, July 14,
2003, at Heartland.
She was a homemaker, attended Community United Methodist Church in
Richwood and was a member of the Richwood Civic Center.
She was born Oct. 5, 1912, in Boyd County, Ky., to the late Harrison and
Anna Horn Akers and was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn (Jessie) Boysel of London; a
grandson, Steven Pinson; great-grandchildren, Zackary and Allison
Pinson; a special granddaughter-in-law, Pamela (Jim) Bolger; and a
brother, Clifford "Jim" Akers of Marion.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the York Cemetery
in York Center. The Rev. Phyllis Radlinski will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community United Methodist Church
in York Center.
The Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood is in charge of arrangements.
