John Rittenhouse | |||
John Rittenhouse, 83, of Prospect died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at the
Arbors at Delaware. He was a farmer and a member of the Radnor Baptist Church. He was born July 21, 1919, in Prospect to the late Norman Stanley and Lula Stiffler Rittenhouse and was predeceased by a brother and three sisters. He is survived by a son, John "Butch" Rittenhouse Jr. of Prospect; two daughters, Darlene D. Ward of Delaware and Ruth Ann Geeck of Florida; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect. The Rev. Tom Lasley will officiate and burial will be at the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Community Baptist Church, 6989 Waldo-Delaware Road, Waldo, Ohio 43356 or Vista Care Hospice Foundation, 4041 N.
