Kathleen Ann Heimlich Taylor, 46, of Prospect died following a
courageous battle with cancer Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, at her home, surrounded, as in life, by her family. She graduated from Buckeye Valley High School in 1973 and earned bachelor's and master's degrees in education. She began full-time teaching in Prospect in 1978 and while teaching, met her husband, Lodi, and they were married April 25, 1987. She reached deeply into the lives of many people. Throughout all, she filled her time with family, friends, school, church and community activities. She lived her life in love and as a blessing to others. She was born April 27, 1955, and was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Frank and Imogene Heimlich and maternal grandfather, Robert Howald. She was dearly loved and is survived by her husband, Lodi Taylor; a stepson, Matt Taylor; two daughters, Whitney and Katlin; parents, Charles and Margaret Heimlich; two brothers, Nick and Mark; two sisters, Beth Carrier and Lisa Heimlich; and her grandmother, Bernice Howald. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Prospect at 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Stephen S. Bull will officiate and burial will be in Mayfield Cemetery near Norton. Friends may call at the church from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital in Columbus. The Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood is handling arrangements. | |||
