Elda E. Riley, 95, of Prospect died Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at Marion
General Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church. She was born Sept. 4, 1906, in Radcliff to the late John and Dora Allen Cooper and was predeceased by a daughter, four brothers and three sisters. She married Charles Riley June 4, 1925, and he died in July 1986. She is survived by two daughters, Norma (Charles) Warren of Prospect and Ruth (William) Taylor of Richwood; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and three sisters, Dena Jeffers of McArthur, Luellen McGlothin of Hamden and Melba Perry of McArthur. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect. The Rev. David L. Hoffman will officiate and burial will be at the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Prospect United Methodist Church building fund in care of the funeral home. | |||
