Alan C. McPherson

Alan C. McPherson, 52, of Marion died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at Marion
General Hospital after a long illness.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971, was an employee of Quaker
Oats for 21 years and most recently worked at Depot Sales.
He was born Dec. 20, 1949, in Marion to Charles and Patricia Penry
McPherson and was predeceased by his father.
He is survived by his mother of Marion; two children, Emily Kay
McPherson and Adam Charles McPherson of LaRue; a brother, Steven (Kathy)
McPherson of Bluffton; aunts, uncles and cousins who gave their support
and love during his illness; and special friends, Don and Beth Lauer of
Texas.
There will be no calling hours or services.
