Mabel Lucille Siler Miller, 91, of Prospect died Thursday, June 27,
2002, at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of the Radnor Baptist Church, Dorcas Mission Society, AARP and Prospect Senior Citizens and a lifetime member of the Marion County Historical Society. She was born Nov. 24, 1910, in West Manchester to the late Howard and Myrtle Howell Siler and was predeceased by a son, Leonard Paul Miller; a daughter, Ruth Anna Miller Guckian; an infant daughter, Kay Veldine Miller; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild. She married Kenneth H. Miller Sept. 23, 1930, in Harrisburg, Ind., and he died July 2, 2001. She is survived by two daughters, Sylvia Miller (Gene) Hack of Hyatts and Glenna Miller Jarvis of McArthur; two sons, Raymond A. (Linda) Miller of Hilliard and Douglas J. (Arlene) Miller of Waldorf, Md.; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Donald Guckian of Eaton; and caregivers, Chloe Hedges, Sharma Gatton, Kathleen Snyder, Kathy Wright, Helen Woods and Louise Steedley. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Radnor Baptist Church. The Rev. Frank Busbey will officiate and burial will be at the Wares Chapel Cemetery in West Manchester.
