Joan Fletcher


Joan Fletcher, 73, of Prospect died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002, at her
home.
She was a homemaker and co-owned and operated the Lawrence Fletcher
Garage in Prospect. She was a member of the Richland Road Church of
Christ in Marion and the Prospect Senior Citizens.
She was born Dec. 20, 1928, in Jackson to the late Frank L. and Blanche
Lombarger Neville and was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law,
James and Gloria Neville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and
Angela Fletcher; and a sister-in-law, Esther Styer. She married Lawrence
E. Fletcher Nov. 30, 1952, in Columbus and he died Dec. 25, 1989.
She is survived by four daughters, Rachel (Allen) Crum and Karen
Fletcher and friend, Kel Bollinger of Prospect, Judy (Randy) Mobley of
Dublin and Regina (Stanley) Foos of Marion; eight grandchildren, Monica
Roush, Valerie Daniels, Brent Crum, Marla (Brad) Sager, Ellen (Phil)
Mueller, Cheryl (George III) Collins, Taylor Mobley and Reid Mobley;
eight great-grandchildren, Kyle, Zack, Courtney, Dustin, McKenzie,
Brayden, Alexa and Carter; a brother, Frank E. (Doris) Neville of
Westerville; four sisters-in-law, Phyllis (Cecil) Thornton of Florida,
Ruth (Gene) Majewski of Texas, Nancy (Cephus) Fowler of Arkansas and
Mary Ellen (Robert) Callens of Mississippi; and two brothers-in-law,
Robert (Gwen) Fletcher of Missouri and Paul Styer of Magnetic Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Richland Road
Church of Christ in Marion. Russell Howard and John Hill will officiate
and burial will be at the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Willowbrook Christian Home in
Worthington; Hospice at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware or the
church. Cards will be available at the funeral home.
