Harold Raymond Mitchell

Harold Raymond Mitchell, 81, of Radnor died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware after a one-month illness.  A 1940 graduate of Delaware Willis High School, he was a truck driver and farmer and a member of the Prospect Knights of Pythias.  He was born March 16, 1921, in Woonsocket, S.D., to the late William and Stella Cosby Mitchell.  He is survived by his wife, Lois Cloud whom he married Nov. 22,1969, in Radnor; a sister, Helen Carvour of Dublin; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect.  The Rev. Charles Fye will officiate and burial will be the Radnor Cemetery.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.  Memorial contributions may be made to Running Strong for American Indian Youth or Hospice at Grady. Cards will be available at the funeral home.
