Starling Maxine Collins

Starling Maxine Collins, 84, of Richwood died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, at
Memorial Hospital of Union County.
She was a homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church.
She was born May 13, 1918, in Jackson Township to the late Theodore and
Florence Temple Monson and was predeceased by three brothers and two
sisters. She married Denvil Collins May 20, 1939, and he died Dec. 22,
2000.
She is survived by a son, Gary (Nancy) Collins of Richwood; three
daughters, Reva (Jim) Munro of Tampa, Fla., Linda (Cecil) Martin of
Toledo and Karen (Richard) Shaffer of McComb; 10 grandchildren; 12
great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jared Monson of Radnor.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ballinger
Funeral Home in Richwood. Dr. James Munro will officiate and burial will
be at the Price Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Northern Union County Fire and
EMS. Cards will be available at the funeral home.
