Nancy Lee Yoakam, 60, of Russells Point died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, at
Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine after an extended illness. She was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting, crocheting and catfishing. She was born June 5, 1942, in Kenton to the late Perry and June Harriman Longshore. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Francis "Bud" Yoakam whom she married Nov. 18, 1962 in Russells Point; two sons, Mike (Drudy) Yoakam of Marysville and Tony Yoakam and friend, Linda McCrary of Russells Point; a daughter, Penny (Tony) York of Bellefontaine; a grandchild, Shawn Smith whom she was raising; and grandchildren Becki, Stacia and Jared Yoakam of Marysville and Elizabeth Wheatley and June and Phillis York of Bellefontaine; two sisters, Barbra Miller and Jeannie (Bob) Hildreth of Richwood; a brother, Harold (Pat) Longshore of Delaware; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood and burial will be at the Price Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. | |||
