Glenn David Davis, 72, of Marion, formerly of Marysville, died Tuesday,
Nov. 12, 2002, at Marion General Hospital. He was a retired electroplater with Eljer Plumbingware in Marysville. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea and was a member of the Mount Victory VFW. He was born March 26, 1930, in Byhalia to the late Arthur and Genevieve Hendrickson Davis and was predeceased by two brothers, George W. Davis and Earl O. Davis; and a step-grandchild. He is survived by his wife, Georgia Schultz Davis whom he married April 23, 1952, in Marysville; two daughters, Carol Jean (George) Showalter of Richwood and Sondra K. (James) Ricksecker of Marion; a stepdaughter, Peggy Fuson of Holly Hills, Fla.; a grandson, Donald Thomas Spitzer Jr. of Marion; two step-grandchildren, Diana McIntyre of Jacksonville, Fla., and Alan Fuson of Holly Hills; two great-grandchildren, Samantha and Andrew Spitzer of Marion; a step great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Combs of Holly Hills; a sister-in-law, Ethel Borchers of Delaware; several nieces and nephews; his dog, Fluffy and cat, Precious. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 102454, Atlanta, Ga. 30368-2454, or the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, 1580 King Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43212. Arrangements are being handled by the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. | |||
