Paul C. Stimmel
Paul C. Stimmel, 74, of Richwood died Monday, Nov. 25, 2002, at Memorial
Hospital of Union County.
He was a retired lineman for Ohio Edison. He was a veteran of the U.S.
Air Force and a member of Hiram Lodge 18 F&AM in Delaware, Richwood
First Baptist Church and VFW Post 870.
He was born Aug. 19, 1928, in Delaware to the late Paul Clifford and
Nellie Wycoff Stimmel and was predeceased by a sister. He married
Margaret Helen Morrison Sept. 15, 1950, and she died in February 2001.
He is survived by two sons, Paul Eric Stimmel of Aloha, Ore., and James
LeRoy (Mary) Stimmel of Lawrenceville, Ga.; a daughter, Lisa Ann (Don)
Jones of Rushsylvania; two granddaughters and a grandson; two brothers,
Jim Stimmel of Delaware and Jack (Maxine) Stimmel of Sunbury; and a
sister, Jean Fisher of Mount Gilead.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Ballinger
Funeral Home. The Rev. Barb Stevens will officiate and burial will be at
the Claibourne Cemetery.
