Lena G. Weatherby

Lena Weatherby, 101 , of Richwood died at Union Manor Tuesday, Jan. 30,
2001.
She was an active member of the Mingo Baptist Church and a past president
of the American Legion Auxiliary of Richwood. She was a care giver to
the elderly and to children.
She was born July 27, 1899, in Mingo to the late James Edward and Lydia
Krebs Newman and was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Edna (Ernest) Cramer of Richwood; five
grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren; and
several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 ajn. Saturday at the Balhnger Funeral
Home in Richwood. The Rev. Barb Stevens will officiate and burial will be
at Mount Cannel Cemetery near Mingo. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m.
Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Richwood EMS in care of the
funeral home.
