Margaret Helen Stimmel


Margaret Helen Stimmel, 70, of Richwood died Sunday, Feb. 11,2001, at
Marion General Hospital.
She was a homemaker and was a secretary for the Ohio Wesleyan University
Chemistry Department from 1948 to 1952, a clerk/typist at North American
Aviation in Columbus from 1952 to 1959 and a secretary for the First
Baptist Church in Richwood from 1967 to 1980. She attended Mount Gilead
schools and graduated from Delaware Willis High School in 1948. She was
a member of the First Baptist Church and several societies, including
NSDAR, NSDAC, OGS, OHS, OES and the genealogical societies of Knox,
Morrow, Delaware, Greene and Monroe counties.
She was born Aug. 2, 1930, in New Castle, Pa., to William C. and Helga
A. Hyde Morrison and was predeceased by her father.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Stimmel whom she married Sept. 15,
1950; her mother, Helga Morrison of Delaware; two sons, Eric Stimmel of
Aloha, Ore., and James L. (Mary) Stimmel of Lawrenceville, Ga.; a daughter,
Lisa Ann (Don) Jones of Marysville; two sisters, Kathleen Schmidt of
Delaware and Barbara of Seymore, Pa.; two granddaughters; and a grandson..
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Ballinger Funeral
Home in Richwood. The Rev. Barb Stevens will officiate; There will be no
burial or calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio Genealogical Society or
Disabled American Veterans.
