Mary Kathryn "Kit" Morrison

Mary Kathryn "Kit" Morrison, 85, died Wednesday, July 18,
2001, at The Gables at Green Pastures in Marysville. The
Richwood resident was a retired, secretary . at Claibourne-
Richwood Elementary School.
She was born September 21, 1915, in Madison County, a
daughter of Damon Dorr and Bertha May Connolly Bennett. Her.
husband, William Walter Morrison, whom she married October
10, 1935, preceded her in death December 23, 2000.
. She wns a member of the Richwood First .Baptist Church,
Carpc Diem, Fortnightly Literary Club and' various .Baptist
Women's Groups.
Surviving are a son, John W. (Noel) Morrison of St. Paul,
Minn.; three1' daughters, Rebecca Jane (Paul) Diedrich of
Richwood, Beth Ellen (Marvin) Carbonncau of Champagne, 111.,
nnd Molly Charles of Sidney; u sister, Ruby Rebecca Craig of
Marysvillc; 12 grandchildren and a great grandchild. A sister,
Doris EllaMay Krenck, is deceased.
The Rev. Barb Stevens conducted funeral services Saturday,
July 21, 2001, nt the First Baptist Church. Burial was at
Claitiournc Cemetery. Ballingcr Funeral Home was in charge of
arrangements.
