Lucile J. Isler


Lucile J. Isler, 93, formerly of Prospect and a resident of Marion Manor
for several years, died Sunday, Dec, 31,2000, at Marion Manor.
She was a secretary in the College of Education at the University of Maryland
from 1957 to 1965 and was an active member of the Prospect Baptist
Church and was active in the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
She was bora Oct. 24, 1907, in Denver, Colo., to the late Edward and
Martha Bawtenham and was predeceased by a son, David Edward Isler and
• sister. She married David A. Isler Sept. 2,1934, and he died Feb. 1,1980.
She is survived by a sister, Mary Dickson of Westminster, Cok>.; four sisters-
m-law; and several nieces and nephews. ,
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Prospect Baptist
Church. The Rev. C. Rorke Wante will officiate and burial will be at the
Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
