Harry B. Sunday, 89, of Richwood died Thursday, March 2, 2000 at his
home after a two-year illness. He was a retired contractor with N.A.G. Sunday & Sons in Antwerp. He was a member of the Richwood First United Methodist Church and the Union County Shriners and a 50-year member of Mount Carmel 303 F&AM and Scottish Rite. A U.S. Army Corps of Engineers veteran of World War II, he was a member of American Legion Post 40 and VFW Post 870 He was born Dec. 2, 1910, in Antwerp to the late N.A.G. and Katie Lane Sunday and was predeceased by a sister. He is survived by his wife Mary Esther Street Sunday whom he married June 19, 1932, in Richwood; a brother, Rex W. Sunday of Tipp City; and a sister, Janet Sunday Abe of Dayton. • Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Joseph Rhea will officiate and burial will be at the Claiboume Cemetery where veterans'services will be conducted by the Richwood VFW and American Legion. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pjn. Saturday at the funeral home where a Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Richwood First United Methodist Church memorial fund or the Richwood Civic Center in care o'f the funeral home. | |||
