William Harrison "Bill" Temple
Richwood area farmer, William Harrison "Bill" Temple, 75, died unexpectedly Monday, May 1, 2000 at Marion General Hospital. The U. S. Army veteran served witht ehtank destroyers in World War II, graduated from Richwood High School in 1942 and was a member of Richwood First Baptist Churcha and the Richwood Gun and Game Club.
He was born June 4, 1924 in Richwood, a son of the late Harry and Anna Guyton Temple. He married the former Dorothy L. Wolbert January 21, 1945.
Surviving are his wife, a son, William Harrison (Regina) Temple III of near Richwood, and three grandchildren: Jessica, Todd and "Wil". A brother, Don Temple and sister, Rachel Russell, preceded him in death.
The Rev. Barb Stevens conducted funeral services Thursday, May 4, 2000 at Ballinger Funeral Home. Burial was at Price Cemetery.
