Anna Mildred Ridgeway

Anna Mildred Ridgeway, 72, of Richwood died Monday, May 29,2000. at
Marion General Hospital.
She was retired as a bookkeeper at the Richwood Bank and supported the
Democratic party by working voting booths on election days and the party's
tent at the Richwood Fair.
She was bom July 13, 1927, in Union County to the late Harry and Hazel
Mercer Reese and was predeceased by two brothers. She married Roland
Duke Ridgeway Sr. in 1946 in Richwood and he died Nov. 1,1995.
She is survived by two sons, Roland Duke Ridgeway Jr. of Richwood and
Rodney Ridgeway of Prospect; a grandson, Todd Ridgeway of Marion; a
granddaughter, Betsy Ridgeway of Prospect; a great-grandson, Matt Ridgeway
of Mount Gilead; and a sister, Evelyn Cox of Richwood.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ballinger Funeral
Home in Richwood. The Rev. Scott Gorsuch will officiate and burial will be
at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Richwood Matinee Club in
care of the funeral home.
